They are TRON network resources. Energy is used by smart contracts, including USDT transfers. Bandwidth covers transaction data.

Do I need to connect a wallet?

An address is enough to rent resources. We do not ask for your seed phrase or wallet private key.

Can I pay from an exchange?

Not for instant rental: resources would go to the exchange address that sent the payment. Use your own wallet or a dashboard order with an explicit receiver.

How much energy does a USDT transfer need?

Usage depends on address and contract state. The 65K and 131K packages are guides, not a guaranteed transfer count. Bandwidth is separate.
